Tea Bag, Not Tea Party
I had nothing to write earlier today. For some reason, I decided to have tea. The tea wrote it for me. No, I’m not a seer who reads leaves, just tags.

That should make me feel better. I’m absolutely sure Washington’s words would comfort me if I could be sure my accomplishments would make me worthy of being quoted on a tea bag someday.
I would like to write a book on tea bag wisdom. That would be fulfilling, for a little while.

Amy Arena holds a B.A. in American Studies from San Francisco State University. A respected actress and world-renown singer (at least underground) , Arena has written several peer-appreciated, but not-yet-produced plays, has published poetry and won awards for her short stories on websites that no longer exist, and produced an album that she can't afford to hype with the finesse of the happiness experts.
